Who benefits from SB 8?

I just read an article in the LA Times on the origin of the Texas abortion law that originated in the tiny town of Wascom, Texas. It was crafted by attorney Jonathan Mitchell, a top lawyer for the state.
The law creates a private right of action allowing anyone, even outside of Texas, to sue abortion providers and anyone else who helps someone get an abortion. The law benefits the evangelicals and right to lifers politically, but it most certainly will benefit attorneys financially as everyone starts suing everyone else for the 10,000 dollar bounty.
We have opened a dangerous door to vigilante justice, avoidance of constitutional protections and profiteering by hungry attorneys, not to mention the danger to women who will end up seeking back alley abortions like we used to do, back in the day before Roe v Wade saved us.
